I went to a really interesting little seminar this afternoon and met Coach Bobbie.

It was one of those things little events that popped up at the last minute, and really felt strongly about being there, I had to move heaven and earth to get the logistics sorted to fly solo for this event. And even on short notice, I made it.

While I was there, I wasn’t quite sure what it was that I was supposed to be taking away from it.

I heard a lot of interesting information, and though, hmmmm … how could this help me? Who else in my life could benefit from this information.

But it was upon reflecting on the afternoon by sharing stories and things I’d learned with my husband that afternoon and my sister and brother in law over dinner. This reflection has continue over breakfast this morning, and continues on…

And it’s reminded me of a couple of things:

1. Everyone needs a coach (because you only have one version of the truth, and your views can be very constrained).
2. There is so much to learn in life that one shouldn’t be overwhelmed by it, but joyous that they’ll never be bored if they enjoy the process and just keep seeking a little more.

And I always find it most interesting when I learn theory, philosophy or science which stands behind intuitions or gut feelings I have. I love that these frameworks give me the most amazing opportunities to look at things I’ve done which have worked, and things which haven’t worked, and on the basis of understanding the framework and applying it to my own thoughts, values, beliefs, and experiences, I can create more successful ‘things’!

Today’s learning was on the Law of Attraction.

Energetic beings. How to get into vortex. Why to be in the vortex.

My own reflections on this had me thinking about two examples:

1. When it works – e.g. exercise in the morning.
2. When it doesn’t work (and I feel like I got out of bed on the wrong side) – waking to a crying baby.
