Anthia Koullouros (BHSC ND DBM DH MATMS) began consulting in 1994 and after ten years of clinical experience, opened Ovvio The Organic Health & Lifestyle Store and Naturopathic Clinic in Sydney (NSW, Australia). A quaint Paddington terrace reminiscent of old-fashioned apothecaries and teahouses, Ovvio reclaimed the rich history of Naturopathy. From this space, Anthia was inspired to create her own brand of hand-blended, organic teas and herb & spices.
After 16 years of creating and nurturing her beloved Ovvio, she birthed her brand new baby Apothēca By Anthia. This was the right time to evolve, and to create something wonderful, something right for these times, something more aligned to herself and others. Apothecary originates from the ancient Greek word Apothēca, [ἀποθήκη] a dispensary of botanical remedies. It was the place where women could be healers. Anthia has launched a new collection of everyday drinking teas & tisanes followed by a collection of naturopathic and botanical remedies – elixirs, tonics & lifestyle products. This offering distills over 25 years of clinical practice, apothecary, and tea making to holistically nourish you on your healing journey to wholeness. I can’t wait for you to try it all!
Anthia says “It is my passion to educate and inspire as many people as possible to choose products and take actions that add health, happiness, peace, love, beauty and truth to their lives and the lives of others. To achieve this I help people sort through their clutter and get clear about why they are feeling the way they are, and help them overcome the confusion that many people experience when it comes to health, lifestyle and nutrition.
