Motherhood makes you responsible.

And that’s why your business will love you for it.

You may think you’ve been responsible all these years. You worked hard after school. You’ve got a successful business. But are you REALLY responsible?

When you’re responsible you push through discomfort. Through this discomfort you gain incredible learnings.

Discomfort gives engagement.

Becoming a mum means you must step up, over and through.

For change to occur, people need to take responsibility. They need to know they don’t know everything. They need vulnerability. Then they need to move forward. They need to be stretched to develop – it is actually THE only way.

I’ve been out actively decoding what I do that helps other take massive action which is against what they’ve achieved before; my superstar PA once said to me, “you show your massive strength through your vulnerability.”

I realised that one thing clarity has provided me a confidence that I’ve a fair idea what I know or can do naturally, and what I’m not so great at. I also know there are awesome people who help me be the best version of myself, and do simply what I love. It’s a true team approach for me, and it’s something I look for in people approaching me for us to work together.

Along with a bias for action, an ability to challenge something causing a block, and revving up the status quo only when it needs it (let’s not reinvent everything), understanding were not perfect and being open to the opportunities that present in the face of vulnerability takes a certain amount of self awareness … And this is what helps me help others be awesome, love the ride and know they’re supported when they fall.
