I was throwing a random Michael Clarke Spartan bounce ball up in the air a few minutes ago. And it got me thinking.

My daughter asked me to juggle the balls when we were at the North Sydney Lifestyle Festival on the weekend and I did my best one handed two ball juggle. I did ok at the start, but quickly started dropping the balls everywhere!

Then on Sunday we went out to the Sydney Rally drive school at Colo Heights; beautiful drive by the way (and great waterskiing parks!)

As part of the pre drive coaching, the talk was look where you want to go, and your mind will do the rest.

I remember being coached as a child on different ball games, especially in cricket and netball. It was always about keep you eye on the ball. Obviously because your mind will do the rest.

This got me to thinking further about my goals process. I know there are a stack of stats on why those with goals achieve them. Is it simply that you have the focus, you keep your eye on the goal, and your mind does the rest?
