– I knew there was incredible people out there
– I had a better idea on scope
– I knew how to run projects (consulting days), drive behaviour and outputs I wanted (scoping and budgeting projects and then reporting to those / eg proposal budgets and project hour budgets for staff stages etc)
– I knew the elements of a business
– I saw what big business invested their money in and how that worked out for them
– I lived and breathed their tests and found my own truth, delivering exceptionally for them
– I was always an entrepreneur in an intraprenuer’s shell
– I had freedom to be great at what I do in an in-house model and I had substantiated and built my performance being judged by clients in the external model
